news The Sun has come out!!

Despite the horrendous forcast the weather today has been great and we have all enjoyed another action packed day! Check out the photos to see what has been going on. The children have enjoyed a fund last evening and have begun the packing process. Looking fowrad to wrestling with bin liners full of wet dirty clothes tomorrow morning!

news Fun in the Rain!

All earlier to sleep last night and not quite so early to rise this morning!!! 2 groups walked in the mountains today enjoying the environment and the wet weather! 2 groups went paddling on a lake ner Llanberis and enjoyed learning some bushcraft skills - including lighting fires and making dampers! All eating well - steak pie or quiche tonight! Quote of day: \' my bottom is all squidgey but my tops ok\' Finn describing the damper he cooked on the fire! Fingers crossed that the weather tomorrow is better than the forcast!

news A Great 2nd Day!

We have all had a great second day! Weather has been overcast but not wet! 2 groups have had fun exploring the mountains and 2 groups have been enjoying scrambling up the gorge and doing the BLT in the centre grounds. Children appear to be enjoying the food - roast dinner tonight! All have had their first trip to the Marle Hall tuckshop! Quote of the day 'wish we could stay here for a month!'

news End of the First Day!

The children responded brilliantly to their first challenge - orienteering!! All have been well fed and watered this evening - jacket potatoes and pasta with meat sauce. Evening activities have been a success - the Low Ropes course record has been smashed!! Nearly time for bed!!!

news We have arrived!

We arrived safely at just after 12 noon. Children are currently being shown around the building and collecting their kit. The weather is ok - no rain here today! Orienteering to follow shortly!

information Final reminders....

A few final reminders before Monday: •Mrs Belmega is the emergency contact out of school hours, her phone number is 07584 905286. •On Monday we shall be departing from the Rugby Road entrance. Please meet in the Infant Hall by 8.15am. •Children will need a packed lunch for the journey, including a lunch box and drinks container (both that can be used throughout the week). •Pocket money should be a maximum of £10. •Don’t forget the woolly hats, scarves, gloves, plasters and bin liners! •Any medication, including travel sickness pills for the return journey, should be given to Miss Monro on arrival at the Infant Hall. Please make sure it is clearly labelled with instructions on dosage etc. •Please make sure all children’s items are clearly named and they have packed their case/bag so they know what it contains!
